In a week where we received news FAMOUS magazine is shutting down, Express Media Group is announcing the immediate closure of all its homemaker and lifestyle magazines, excluding Country Home Ideas.
Titles closing include Modern Home, Australian Coastal Home, Craft Lovers, Scrapbooking Memories, Landscaping Your Garden, Patchwork & Stitching, Handmade, Country Threads, and Country Crafts.
“Effective immediately, all homemaker and lifestyle magazines in Express Media Group, including Modern Home and Australian Coastal Home, have been closed down. That said, the company’s biggest selling title Country Home Ideas will continue with editor Susan Kontic taking over,” says Modern Home and Australian Coastal Home editor Selina Gordevich.
“Thank you to everyone for their support over the years, for your amazing events, beautiful samples and quick response time with images, product suggestions and more. I have been so blessed with all you wonderful PRs, writers, photographers and business owners helping me put together such beautiful magazines.”
Staff were told of the news today.
