With David Jones’ new customer magazine and accompanying app to be launched in August, the first role for the venture has finally been announced. Annii Hirst has been confirmed as the national integration manager, with the news broken by the magazine and app’s publisher Medium Rare Content Agency.
Medium Rare managing director Gerry Reynolds tells Mumbrella of the appointment: “Annii’s experience in managing prestige clients coupled with her trusted relationships in the market make her an ideal fit for Medium Rare and David Jones. I very much look forward to working with her as we gear up for launch.”
Hirst comments: “I am delighted to be joining the team at Medium Rare. The opportunity to work with David Jones and provide the market with innovative ways to reach such a targeted premium audience is truly exciting."
Hirst moves across from Bauer Media, where she was national brand integration manager of premium, fashion and beauty. She has previously worked in print, digital, social and events, across titles including The Sydney Morning Herald, Donna Hay, Elle Australia, Gourmet Traveller and Harper’s Bazaar.
