Who: Misha Collection
When: 3:00pm, May 16, The Runway, Carriageworks.
Hair: Dale Delaporte for Goldwell Professional
Hair look: "It’s sleek and young, using a centre part and a low ponytail which keeps it really modern. We’ve decided to wrap around it some black velvet, which we’ve distressed to make it luxe but modern at the same time. To keep the pony sleek we’ve used a small amount of dry wax on the top to lacquer the hair down and contain everything. At the end of day it’s just a ponytail - so it’s definitely wearable for the everyday. It’s all about how you choose to dress it - you could keep it simple or make it something really cool with a little ribbon.”
Make-up: Nigel Stainslaus for Maybelline New York
Make-up look: “It’s all about the neo-glamazon. It started off with the inspiration being the 90s supermodel. There’s full coverage in the face, with the foundation blended to perfection. Using primers for the eyes, we’ve tapped shadow all over the lids for a rockstar effect. But the real magic is the kohl pencil, which traces round the eye - it's a little messy and we’ve thrown in some silver as well. Then there’s the mascara, which is applied for a spider-like effect. That’s going to be a massive trend this year! Then finally with a bit of melted Baby Lips dab a little on the lid. So as soon as they hit the runway, their eyes just flash like a bolt of light.”
