Tom Pecheux has been announced as Yves Saint Laurent's new global beauty director.
According to a press release from the brand, in his new role Pecheux will be the force behind the brand's future cosmetic creations. He will work with YSL Beauté ambassadors Staz Lindes, Anja Rubik, Crista Cober and Edie Campbell on advertising campaigns, collaborate with YSL Beauté’s key colour cosmetics creators in order to develop exciting new products, and inspire customers with vision and expertise through how-tos on social media and in international press.
A French-born makeup artist who is renowned for his ineffable charisma and creativity, he has worked on campaigns for Gucci, Chanel and Dolce & Gabbana and is regularly commissioned by magazines like Vogue, Interview and Harper's BAZAAR.
Pecheux was an in-house artistic consultant for Shiseido prior to his role at Estée Lauder where he was artistic director of makeup for four years.
