It appears it's not just Hollywood celebrities and meme artists who are poking fun at President Donald Trump's administration... a beauty brand has jumped on the wagon too.
Dove has cheekily poked fun at presidential counsellor Kellyanne Conway's catch phrase 'alternative facts', which are, as the phrase might suggest, not facts at all.
Published in The Times and The Guardian in the UK earlier this week was a double page ad that unveiled a series of dramatic false claims surrounding Dove's new antiperspirant deodorant.
Included were falsehoods such as "New Dove antiperspirant boosts your Wi-Fi signal" and "New Dove antiperspirant knows a guy who can get you on the guest list." The list is finished off with the hashtag #AlternativeFacts.
On the opposite page, the ad continues with an image of the product and the message, "New Dove antiperspirant cares for your skin like never before” along with the hashtag #RealFacts.
The satirical ad has gone viral in just a few days and is rightfully receiving a lot of attention. Whoever said beauty and politics don't mix?
Here are Dove's 'alternative facts' in full:
"New Dove antiperspirant increases your IQ by 40 points."
"New Dove antiperspirant was first used by Cleopatra."
"New Dove antiperspirant can plan your next holiday at a competitive rate."
"New Dove antiperspirant boosts your WiFi signal."
"New Dove antiperspirant will locate that lost sock from two years ago."
"New Dove antiperspirant rhymes with orange."
"New Dove antiperspirant helps you remember distant relatives' names at family gatherings."
"New Dove antiperspirant is a really good listener."
"New Dove antiperspirant makes the lift arrive when you feverishly press the button."
