It's been announced that Condé Nast will partner with Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop to release the brand's first ever print magazine.
The quarterly magazine, which will keep the Goop name, will launch in September of this year. A spokesperson from Condé Nast said that each issue of the mag will be, "original and produced by Goop, while the creative is an artistic collaboration between Goop and Conde Nast." The latter referring to imagery and visuals.
The print publication will aim to capitalise on the popularity of the website, that launched in 2008, and cover the topics that are already known to be a hit with existing fans of Goop. Categories such as beauty, wellness and lifestyle content are expected to be prominent.
According to WWD, the partnership between the media companies came about after a conversation between Vogue US editor in chief Anna Wintour and Paltrow herself.
Wintour said of the collaboration: "I’ve long known Gwyneth to have wonderful taste and vision — but with Goop she has built something remarkable, a thoroughly modern take on how we live today. Goop and Condé Nast are natural partners and I’m excited she’s bringing her point of view to the company. We all look forward to working with her and her team.”
