Victoria Beckham has unveiled her new range of beauty products once again produced in collaboration with Estée Lauder.
The second season, that Estée Lauder has reportedly made a "sizable investment in", comes just nine months after the release of the fashion designer's limited edition capsule collection. While in New York to show her resort clothing range, Beckham said in an interview that the upcoming beauty line is larger than before both in terms of SKUs and distribution.
The 14 piece capsule collection has doubled in size to 28 products with global distribution tripling from roughly 45 to 1,200 doors. Ten hero products remain from the first collection with 18 new additions and two kits.
The preview revealed that Beckham's city makeup looks for LA, London, New York and Paris will see the addition of Miami. This contains new items such as Cheek Crème in Blond Mink; Eye Matte Duo in Bleu Électrique/Nude; Eye Kajal Duo eyeliner in Saphir/Vanill, and Matte Lipstick in Burnished Rose. A new “Signature” look will also join the range as well. Beckham said the line’s best-selling Morning Aura Illuminating Crème is complimented by three new products: Skin Perfecting Powder; Aura Gloss in Honey, and Eye Ink Mascara in Backseat.
Beckham hasn't touched on foundation or eyebrows, reportedly wanting to spend more time on these two areas. She also mentioned a skincare range is in the works.
The packaging has also been updated with elements such as pebbled leather, clear glass pots and blonde-gold textured compacts – the latter mirroring the hardware on Victoria Beckham handbags. "The collections really are informed by what I do in fashion…[There is a] strong fashion message. I’d say the makeup goes hand in hand with what I’m doing as a fashion brand,” she says.
As of yet, there's no firm launch date.
