ELLE France and Vanity Fair Mexico have caused a stir by using pictures of Meghan Markle from a 2015 Gritty Pretty shoot without the latter's knowledge.
The images appear on both covers and spreads within the magazines that went on sale earlier this week, BEAUTYDIRECTORY believes.
The original images were shot by Sydney-based photographer Christian Blanchard with an accompanying interview by Tracey Withers as part of the cover story from Gritty Pretty's 2015 spring edition.
Gritty Pretty was contacted and confirmed both ELLE France and Vanity Fair Mexico did not seek approval from the team to republish the images.
