Australia’s biggest beauty review website, beautyheaven.com.au, has today announced the winners of its 2018 Glosscar Awards. The annual consumer-voted awards initiative showcases the best beauty products to hit the shelves in the previous year.
Over 15,000 votes were cast for products that made their way into the hearts and beauty cupboards of beautyheaven members in 2017, and this year, brands were awarded winner and runner-up places in more than 70 beauty categories.
Brands to take the market by storm in the last 12 months include:
Benefit Cosmetics (five awards in the makeup category)
Rodan + Fields (14 awards in the skincare category)
The Body Shop (six awards across the body and skincare categories)
Sukin (six awards across various categories)
Demonstrating the Australian market's unwavering desire for a beautiful body, ‘Best New Body Treatment’, ‘Best New Massage/Aromatherapy Oil’ and ‘Best New Self-Tanning Accessory’ were the categories to receive the most votes.
