Junkee Media’s Gen Z-focused title Punkee has appointed Tahlia Pritchard as the publications new editor.
Pritchard had been senior writer at Buzzfeed Australia for three years and is also founder of Gen Y blog Bullsh!t.
Junkee Media publisher, Tim Duggan, said he couldn’t wait to see how Tahlia’s “enthusiasm, ideas and energy” would help Punkee cover more topics.
“Punkee has grown into a huge success since we launched it last June, with hundreds of thousands of people each month getting their daily dose of light-hearted and fun pop culture from Punkee and its social channels,” Duggan said.
“We’ve been searching for a great editor to join the team and help lead it into its new growth phase, and Tahlia is a hilarious and very talented editor who will work with Tom and the team to grow it even more.”
Pritchard joins in May.
