Glossier launches first ever mascara

Following 18 months, a reported 248 attempts at getting it right, and one trip to Tokyo, Glossier has finally released the brand’s first mascara: Lash Slick.

Lash Slick has been described by the millennial-favourited brand as the “perfect everyday mascara”, that “curls and sculpts as it lengthens, enhancing the look of your natural lashes instead of clumping them together or spackling them in product.

“Teeny-tiny fibres coat lashes from root to tip to create a lengthened baby-extension, while flexible film-forming polymers lift and lock each fibre into place. And it’s water-resistant (not waterproof), so Lash Slick washes off easy with warm water at the end of your day.”

The cruelty-free, fragrance-free, hypoallergenic, paraben-free formula was created with Japanese Fibre Technology: “One and two millimeter-long curved fibers hook onto lashes, adding length. Consider these your lash ‘extensions.’”
