Following the announcement of her departure earlier this month, today marks our founder, Janet Hayward's, last day at BEAUTYDIRECTORY.
Janet founded BEAUTYDIRECTORY with business partner Jackie Maxted in 1999, and grew the business to be the industry's most essential resource for media, brands, retailers and beauty PRs.
Following the acquisition of the company by Bauer Media in 2015, Janet remained with the business and continued her wonderful relationships with members of the industry as well as oversee the website and all its ventures in her role as managing editor.
After 19 years, Janet is stepping back to pursue some exciting personal projects that we'll be sure to report on in due course. We're thrilled that she'll also continue to consult on BEAUTYDIRECTORY as well as collaborate on some upcoming projects.
From everyone at the company, we wish Janet the fondest, fondest farewell and the best of luck in all her future endeavours!
