Luxury beauty publication LAUD has announced the release of new magazine: UNLEASHED.
UNLEASHED will be what LAUD has described as “a printed art exhibition” where makeup and hair artists are invited to submit photography of their work as it relates to today’s cultural landscape.
The content themes of each issue are designed to invoke thought, conversation, and the exploration of ideas; while the magazine will consist of editorial submissions. Editorials will be assessed based on creative talent and storytelling, not experience.
UNLEASHED editor-in-chief and publisher will be LAUD founder Trish Lee-Geosits; with the exciting addition of three editors: Becca Gilmartin, Martin Bray and Ben Dniprowskij.
Further to this, LAUD has announced that Kristyn Jenkins, founder and creative director of Le Group Creative, will be joining its editorial team as art director.
Jenkins has more than 14 years’ experience in publishing, working for major mastheads across Bauer Media, News Magazines, Medium Rare and Pacific. In 2016 Jenkins founded Le Group Creative, a premium agency specialising in helping fashion, beauty, retail, travel and lifestyle brands take their communication to the next level.
Speaking on her appointment, Jenkins says: “I am passionate about design and creating compelling print and digital content for forward-thinking clients.
“LAUD Magazine is an influential voice in the hair and beauty industry and I am excited to be working with Trish and the team to take LAUD into a new era.”
