The best way to celebrate the arrival of a new season is with fragrance. While most will have a signature perfume year-round, there’s no harm in welcoming a new favourite on board. BD shares the perfumes worth a spritz (or two!) this spring.
Tiffany & Co Eau de Parfum Intense
The House of Tiffany’s iconic jewlery designs live on with an updated version of the original Eau de Parfum. A powerful musky and floral interpretation of the first perfume, Eau de Parfum Intense takes the creation a step further. A rich concentration of iris butter adds a deep intensity with the blend oozing luxury thanks to raw amber and benzoin. The bottle once again takes inspiration from the house’s most iconic diamond cuts.
When it comes to the latest Chloe fragrance, Damascena rose is the star of the show – an ingredient present in the original fragrance. This time, the intensity and depth of it is increased and combined with an absolute of Centifolia rose. The result is a refined floral with rich woody notes. As for the bottle, it takes on an updated design with a cool golden undertone – finished with Chloe’s signature bow.
The striking red bottle of Narciso’s new perfume, which represents the fierce powers of attraction, is reason alone to make this scent your own. The fragrance itself boasts a floral bouquet of Bulgarian rose and iris, plus tantalizing notes of tonka and vetiver. All in all, it’s a feminine and seductive scent that exudes vibrant warmth.
Elizabeth Arden My Fifth Avenue Eau de Parfum Spray
Inspired by the energy of Fifth Avenue, the latest to join the Elizabeth Arden family is the perfect fragrance for any woman wanting to make a statement of sophistication. Crisp notes are complemented by feminine florals, which evolves into warm musk and woods. The outcome is a sparkling fresh floral.
Givenchy L'Interdit Eau De Parfum
The original L’Interdit was dedicated to Audrey Hepburn, the first muse of Givenchy. Fast forward to 2018, the new version gives a nod to the original but is bold and modern. Feminine notes of white floral are combined with dark notes to achieve its elegant yet unforgettable status.
In the past Gucci have stunned with its floral adorned bottles. The last in the Bloom trio, Bloom Nettare di Fiori has a chypre floral twist. It features feminine notes of rose, osmanthus flower, jasmine, rangoon creeper and tuberose, creating a sensual and woodier blend than the original. It also includes rose and ginger top notes combined with base notes of patchouli and musks.
