Hamilton Everyday Face Sunscreen – Steph
What it is: A moisturising daily facial sunscreen with SPF 50+
My experience: I have been on the hunt for a cost-effective daily facial SPF that felt as great as my high-end alternative and this is it! It feels more like a moisturiser than a sunscreen which I love as it absorbs easily before makeup and adds a dose of hydration to my complexion. There is no sticky-tacky feeling or any sunscreen-y scent which can make facial SPF’s uncomfortable to wear. It just leaves a perfect, dewy feeling on the skin making it a great primer before makeup. I was so impressed and will be using every last drop before I pick up another!
WOTNOT Natural Golden Gradual Tan – Tash
What it is: A natural golden gradual tanning lotion formulated with Australian certified organic Kakadu plum and camellia oil to provide antioxidants to the skin as well as organic aloe vera to soften, moisturise and soothe, all while building a golden, even tan. COSMOS approved DHA, free from sulphates, petrochemicals, PEGs, parabens and artificial fragrances.
My experience: I jumped at the chance to try this natural gradual tan from WOTNOT! I have very sensitive skin and look for natural tanning products without the chemicals so my skin feels comfortable, even when it is fading. This WOTNOT tan uses a COSMOS approved DHA derived from sugar cane, which has a natural fragrance that is not overpowering. Easy and velvety to apply, the result was a beautiful golden tan and soft silky skin! So glad I found this for my sensitive skin, to fake that summer glow!
Ella Baché Great Tan Without Sun – Jess
What it is: a super natural looking fake tan
My experience: love this so much! I didn’t have very high expectations for this because I’m so use to depending on tanning foams for a nice, even tan. I thought this was going to be really light and take a few days to build up a colour, but I was so wrong. The colour goes on instantly into a nice light shade, and then develops over two hours into a darker (but still natural!) tan. I am a pale red head and a lot of tans just don’t suit my skin colour, but this product adjusts to your tone which is GENIUS. I was also worried that the product would rub off onto my clothes because that has happened to me with lesser tanning creams, but not a smidge of product was on my light coloured top at the end of the day. I also did a sweaty workout a few hours after putting it on and still no rub off onto my clothes. This is so great as a low commitment tanner that doesn’t rub off onto your clothes, smell or take a huge amount of time to use. I would even recommend leaving it at your desk or in your handbag for when you want a nice tan on the go, as it works so quickly and efficiently.
Palmer’s Coconut Oil Formula Natural Bronze Body Lotion – Emily
What it is: A lightweight, non-streaking tanning lotion
My experience: This body lotion is incredible! I don’t tan all that well in summer so this is such a good everyday option for me. I love that it is formulated with Fair Trade Certified organic extra virgin coconut oil and coconut milk to nourish, seaweed extract to help hydrate skin and Tahitian monoi to help protect skin from external elements. It gives a natural, sunkissed colour and keeps my skin feeling hydrated. This will be a summer staple for me!
Nu Skin Sunright® Insta Glow – Tiarne
What it is: a tinted self-tanning gel that provides skin with an instant, sun-kissed finish all year round.
My experience: Love this! It applies just like a lotion and goes on super smooth and even. It didn’t leave any streaks behind like some fake tans do (my white sheets are still nice and clean!) A little goes a long way as well, I have a feeling the bottle is going to last many months! I applied it before bed and woke up to a lovely glow the next morning. I received many compliments throughout the day and will definitely be using this every opportunity I get!
