It’s already been an eventful start to 2019 for Glossier, with the launch of its newest product, Milky Oil, and now just days after the release, new brand, Glossier Play has been announced.
Teased on Instagram, founder and CEO, Emily Weiss said the second brand from Glossier Inc will launch in March, “after two years of creation and a lifetime of being inspired by fun and freedom.”
But what exactly can we expect from Glossier Play? The team are keeping it tight-lipped for now, but what we do know is, the brand has already trademarked the phrase 'Playroom', with the filing indicating that it could be for body or room scents, burning papers, or bath bombs.
Additionally, 'Glossier Play Tetra Chrome' has also been trademarked. Tetra Chrome is a special condition that enables people to see 100 million colours, which makes sense, as the name has been trademarked for eye shadow or eye makeup.
With March only a few days away, there isn't long before all is revealed.
