Actress and fashion model, Pia Miller, has recently been announced as the first Australian ambassador for global hair care brand, Pantene.
Joining a diverse line-up of strong, confident and empowering women, including Selena Gomez, Priyanka Chopra, Ellie Goulding, Gisele Budchen, and Chiara Ferragani, Miller told BD it’s a “complete honour” to join such ranks.
The Chilean-born Australian actress has collaborated with the well-known hair care brand for its latest Pro-V Micellar Series – where she endeavours to show Aussie women that “everyday can be a great hair day” through the power of its new, innovative technology.
When it comes to brand collaborations, Miller stressed that authenticity is a must, as well as truly believing in, loving and using the products.
“I think it’s important that you’re aligned with what the brand in question stands for,” she said. “And Pantene is a brand that’s always stood for and supported strong women. And while this message has always been important, I think it’s even more so now, given the current climate.”
As for what a hair care brand needs to offer to stand out in today’s market, the 35-year-old feels it’s “really important to push the boundaries to provide the best products,” which is how she thinks Pantene became known for “being one step ahead when it comes to the latest in hair care.”
The new Micellar range is available in three different variants to suit different hair concerns – Micellar, Charcoal and Aloe Vera. The products have a balance of mild micelles that gently detox the scalp, while the power of Pro-V nutrient blends nourish and help address the age-old problem of oily roots and dry ends.
