Victoria Beckham surprised and delighted fans over the weekend by announcing that her first skincare product will be launching this week.
The fashion and beauty entrepreneur took to Instagram to make the announcement which was accompanied by a picture of her standing with stem cell and biomedical scientist, Dr. Augustinus Bader.
Dr. Bader – the man behind revered skincare brand, Augustinus Bader – has collaborated with Beckham on the Cell Rejuvenating Priming Moisturizer, that is being described as part moisturiser and part brightening primer. The illuminating product, "combines the power of TFC8 technology with a pore-minimizing, line-blurring, lightweight formula that gives an instant glow whilst supporting long-term skin health," according to a statement on the Augustinus Bader website.
Speaking to The Sunday Times Style about her new product, Beckham said she, "likes to think outside the box and do things that aren’t being done. If I’m going to do skincare, I want it to be scientific, I want it to be active and clean.
"I wanted something that gave that glow and a finished look, but with the benefit of skincare. Professor Bader’s skincare is regenerative — it’s the future. The result is a hi-tech hybrid product that primes, imparts glow and repairs," she explained.
Beckham also told the publication that she was revisiting her Morning Aura product that she developed as part of her first beauty collection with Estée Lauder back in 2016. The sell-out primer/moisturiser is now back, new and improved with the help of Dr. Bader.
Following 30 years researching skin regeneration for burn victims, Dr. Bader made a name for himself in the beauty industry with the launch of his iconic product 'The Cream' – a favourite among countless celebrities including Bella Hadid and Hailey Bieber. This is his first collaboration.
Cell Rejuvenating Priming Moisturizer (£92 for 30ml) launches on Tuesday, November 20. Available exclusively at victoriabeckhambeauty.com and augustinusbader.com
