Google has released its annual 'Year in Search' report, outlining the search items that sustained the highest spikes in traffic for a period of time in 2020.
The report, which draws from trillions of queries, includes data on the top-trending searches among basically every category, and of course we have the beauty categories covered for you.
Comparing the results to 2019, we have some stark changes - we've gone from searching fake eyelashes, liquid foundation and beauty YouTuber James Charles and his never-ending drama, to skincare, self-care and DIY hacks.
