Garnier recently announced its 2021 Australian ambassadors, who will be working with the brand throughout the year ahead.
The four ladies named for the role are Emmylou MacCarthy, Brooke Blurton, Laura Wells and Brooke Styles - who BD was lucky enough to chat to.
Styles boasts over 1.3M followers on TikTok and almost 250K followers on Instagram, and it's her passion for green beauty that aligned so well when teaming up with Garnier.
BD spoke to the mega-influencer on what this huge career achievement means to her, the responsibility she feels, and what her ride or die beauty products are.
Congratulations becoming a Garnier ambassador! How did the partnership come about?
Thank you! I've been lucky enough to know the Garnier team for a few years now but we really kicked off after I attended the Australian Open in 2020. I learnt so much about the brand, its direction with green beauty and of course, being a number one fan and product user for most of my life.
Now, I’m part of the G team and I think we compliment each other perfectly with views and beliefs.
What does this role mean to you?
Firstly, being my first big ambassadorship it was an overwhelming career point (and a proud one) so it will always hold a special place in my heart.
Secondly, it’s a huge responsibility. Being the voice between the brand and consumer has such impact. I’m really excited for what’s to come for Garnier, so I will be shouting loud and proud.
What do you love most about the brand?
Green, affordable beauty that's accessible for everyone. We all want to do our part moving forward to help our planet. We can do this while still enjoying the products that we love.
What will you be working on with Garnier in 2021?
Education on new product. Garnier’s promise to cleaner beauty and ways the consumer can contribute from home.
What are 3 of your ride or die beauty products?
