INSTYLE and Styleicons announce editorial changes
INSTYLE and Styleicons has shared changes to its editorial lineup, announcing editor Cameron Pine has been promoted to creative and editorial director.
Pine has held the editor role for the best part of the last 18 years, alongside national sales director Jo Cowan, who celebrates 20 years with the title in July.
Along with this news, deputy editor Shannon Gaitz will be stepping up to become editor effective immediately.
Gaitz has been key in growing the digital and print offering over the last seven years as online editor. She now becomes responsible for the magazine’s timely publication and becomes the key contact internally with design and production teams.
Gaitz will continue to contribute across various touchpoints and will enable Pine's editorial vision through new features, strands and content approaches.
The Australian welcomes new digital editor
Elle Halliwell has been appointed digital editor (luxury & lifestyle) at The Australian. She will be working on the luxury and lifestyle website vertical on a part-time basis. Elle will continue to freelance, covering beauty, fashion and wellness, in addition to her new role.

Australian beauty media icon returns to Sydney
After an enviable 5-year sabbatical in LA, Mary Zavaglia – former beauty editor at Woman’s Day for over 10 years and much-loved by all beauty PRs and marketers for her knowledge, professionalism and passion for beauty – is returning to Sydney to start her next beauty venture.

Are Media appoints new CEO
Are Media has announced the appointment of a new Chief Executive Officer, Jane Huxley, who has replaced former CEO, Brendon Hill.
Huxley is a highly experienced executive with a background in digital and technology businesses. Most recently, she was the regional managing director for Spotify, covering Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
SPA+CLINIC announces new online editor
Jessica Frost is the newest addition to the SPA+CLINIC team, joining as the online editor following Sarah Mourtos’ departure.
Working alongside editor Nadine Dilong, Frost be covering the latest news from the aesthetic and wellness industry for the website and social channels.
Iconic Aussie influencer launches podcast

INSTYLE and Styleicons is thrilled to introduce a new member to the team in the role of beauty editor and journalist across the publication’s renowned print and online titles.
Please welcome Ariana Pezeshki, who will contribute to news, events, product releases and photo shoots pertinent to the national salon industry landscape.
Pezeshki enters the team with a wealth of experience across beauty, lifestyle and entertainment writing for esteemed titles such as BuzzFeed, Chattr, New Idea and WHO.
Introducing BEAUTYcrew's second digital issue
Are Media's BEAUTYcrew has launched its second digital issue, which features cover star and Miss Universe Australia, Maria Thattil.
