Wella Professionals X Wynn Hamlyn backstage report - Tuesday May 10, 2022
New Zealand-based eponymous ready to wear brand, Wynn Hamlyn, debuted its Resort 23 collection, combining maximum shine with ‘90s cuts and styling for men and women. The show took place at an underground tunnel at Sydney’s Central Station on Tuesday 10 May 2022, as part of Afterpay Australian Fashion Week 2022.
The hair:
“Here we pay homage to ‘90s glam focusing on a blunt cut and maximum shine,” said Wella ANZ creative director, Renya Xydis.
Get the look:
Step 1 - Prep roots by layering with Wella EIMI Ocean Spritz Sea Salt Spray. This will give hair grit and texture.
Step 2 - Blow dry from the roots, pointing down to ensure you stretch the roots so that they sit flat to the head.
Step 3 - Prep the hair for straightening with Wella EIMI Glam Mist.
