If you’ve always wanted to try Dyson’s wide range of hair tools but just couldn’t justify the price then this news might just add a pep in your step. The brand just debuted its least expensive hair tool to date, the Supersonic Origin Hair Dryer.
The new tool is a fresh adaptation of the original Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer, except this one retails for $549.
We know it’s not exactly cheap, and to be honest, considering the OG costs $584, there isn’t a massive difference.
While the original Supersonic Hair Dryer comes with five attachments, the new model includes just one: The Smoothing Nozzle.
Now let’s discuss features. The Supersonic Origin is powered by the same V9 motor, has the same air multiplier technology, the same three air settings and four heat settings, and the cold shot button as its predecessor. Which means you’re getting a product that’s pretty close to the more expensive version.
So if you’re wanting a quality hair dryer and don’t need the fancy nozzles, then head to the Dyson website and grab the new Supersonic Origin.
If nozzles are important to you, then you’re probably better off sticking to the original.
