How does it work?
“Many styling routines over-dry or over-heat hair, but [the] AIR-FUSIONTM technology in duet style retains the natural moisture level of hair, providing a long-lasting style without causing damage,” explains ghd CTO, Dr. Rob Milner. But how exactly?!
Let’s get a little technical, shall we? The ghd duet style’s signature AIRFUSIONTM technology is fancy stuff! It all stars with airflow, which is drawn into the styler through a unique air filter design devoted to gifting you your new ‘dry and style’ routine. That airflow is propelled by a clever (and compact) digital motor that delivers precise air speed while limiting sound and turbulence – it’s also passed through a heater to reach optimum temperature for drying without damage on its way to the drying chamber.
The airflow then exits the styler through an expertly designed air grille that works in synergy with 4 actively-heated, low-temperature styling plates. These plates have infinity sensors able to maintain the optimal styling temperature no matter which part of your hair you’re working on (AKA root vs. tip). All of this magic works together to offer game-changing wet to sleek styling without any of the sizzling or burning you may be worried about.
