SHOP Til You Drop closes website

It's been 18 months since Bauer Media announced SHOP Til You Drop would be moving to a primarily digital offering, however, the brand’s focus is shifting again following news its website has been closed.

The website was shut down late last year at the same time as the CLEO website, with both titles being redirected to www.cosmopolitan.com.au. But while CLEO magazine has since been axed, Hearst-Bauer Media general manager Marina Go says there are no plans to close the print product for SHOP Til You Drop.

“We closed the SHOP website to focus on the Cosmo digital strategy. The SHOP brand has a presence on the Cosmo site and we are looking at maximising the brand opportunity in that contextually-relevant environment,” Go tells MumBrella.

SHOP's not the only website being redirected, with the Mother & Baby website also now clicking through to The Australian Women's Weekly.
