Stephanie Darling named beauty director at new mag

Earlier this week we announced Hannah Gay and Thelma McQuillan have joined the new David Jones magazine team, with publisher Medium Rare Content Agency now thrilled to announce its latest recruit – Stephanie Darling.

Darling has stepped into the role of beauty director across the new customer magazine and app, effective immediately. The seasonal print magazine is launching in August this year and will deliver inspirational on-trend and newsstand-quality content around fashion, beauty and interior style. The quarterly title will be distributed in-store and mailed to loyal David Jones customers, with the accompanying app having a weekly publishing frequency.

Stephanie’s expertise and experience will see the David Jones magazine and app deliver world-class beauty content,” says Medium Rare chief content officer Margaret Merten.

Darling adds: “David Jones is the epitome of style and substance and the magazine’s beauty pages will reflect this through the ultimate edit of the hottest new products, profiles and trend spotting. I am very excited to be contributing as beauty director to the new magazine and working with a deeply talented team.”

Darling will continue in her role as beauty director at Sunday Life, as well as working on her first beauty book with Penguin/Random House set for release next year.
