Who: Gail Sorronda

When: 6 pm, April 16. The Theatre, Carriageworks.

Hair: Jon Pulitano for Redken

Hair style: "I've given all the girls short bobs with really short fringes using Show Pony fringe pieces. We're first making a braid at the base of the nape going across the neck in order to create an anchor for the hair and pins. Once the braid has been secured, we're using Rootful to create body and texture, and then we're taking the hair and curling it under and pinning it into the braid to create tiny bobs just around the cheekbones. We'll spray it with Shine Flash so it has a slightly grungy texture. Once we've pinned it all in, we'll pull out little pieces. To create a slightly grungier texture, we're using the Fashion Waves spray that has a nice matte finish," says Jon Pulitano.

Make-up: Nicole Thompson for M.A.C

Make-up style: "Everything is like walking on the moon, it's futuristic in an apocalyptic world - sexy cyborgs. We're creating a dream skin and to do this we've first created a tight canvas. We're pulling everyone's face back as much as humanly possible using Mark Traynor Face Tape so that all the highlights look immaculate on the catwalk. We wanted to create really wild brows, so rather than brushing them up and out - we brushed them backwards. We've locked them in and we've done chunky bits of colour so that from a distance it looks more wild. We've created a halo around the cheeks and the eyes to create a shadow so that the highlights jump out on the catwalk. We've buffed the Cream Colour Base in Luna and Pearl over most of the face as the base so everything sticks to it, and then we've used white pigment buffed over the top with a soft brush. We have pressed a nude cream colour base on the lips to nude down the lips but it's going to be all about the highlight going down the centre of the face through the lip to give a gleaming face. On the bodies, we're using heaps of Strobe Cream everywhere so they're really shiny and then we're putting highlights using the pigment on parts of the body. Sporadically we're painting hands and feet in white and black," says Nicole Thompson.
