Hair look: “This girl has grown up from last season. The hair is out, it’s soft, cool, effortless and flowing. The clothes are whites and creams and florals so we want it to look really beautiful, something that she can go out to lunch in and something that every girl can wear. There’s a lot of layering of product - there’s hardware, there’s saltspray, there’s pins, and cornrows in the back. There’s a lot of execution involved. But she’s young, fresh, modern and cool. The main product used is Perfect Me, with Ocean Spritz around the crown for a lot of body.”

Make-up look: “Today we are going to Coachella with the beauty look. The girl is young, free-spirited, loves music, an IT-girl, very Maybelline. We’ve created this beautiful skin using Baby Skin for a poreless, flawless finish. If they have freckles we are bringing them out, making them look a bit more sunkissed. It’s about enhancing natural features, sweeping over the eyeshadow ever so slightly - the whole idea is about not looking like you are wearing make-up. We’re also just brushing up the brows. For the lips and the cheeks we’ve mixed two colours together for a blush shade - it’s patted on to the lips for a just-been-kissed colour, and whatever’s left over is brushed onto the cheeks for a soft flush. It’s a young innocent look. To finish, gold dust is sprinkled over them, kind of like confetti, this is over the cheeks, the hands and the nails."
