Hair: Philip Barwick for
Hair look: “The theme for the show is ‘crystal galaxy’ so we’ve taken the gleam and glamour associated with crystals and applied it to the hair. To prep the hair we’ve used Redken Pillowproof Express Prime as the hero product. Then we have used a gel to slick it into a high or low ponytail - we’ve used both to break up the look. The hair is then wet down and glitter is sprinkled through there for an intergalactic look, before being dried and glitter re-applied - it’s almost like we have varnished the hair.”
Make-up: Nicole Thompson for
Make-up look: “The key to the look is this straight futuristic liner, which has a blurred edge. I really want to push the blurring of it - the idea behind it is that she’s walking fast into the future. The skin is nice and matte - it’s less about that glossy finish and more about small gloss accents now. To me it’s a young Kate Moss skin finish, with the foundation also taken over the lips a little. It’s a dark galaxy look - we didn’t want it too ethereal or too girly, but it’s a fun look!”
