Who: Christopher Esber
When: 2:00pm, May 17. One Hot Yoga, Potts Point.
Hair: Jenny Kim for KMS
Hair look: “When I saw the collection I just saw a Jedi girl - I immediately thought of Rey from Star Wars. Utilitarian is a word that’s been thrown around with the collection. Christopher Esber designs for the kind of girl who doesn’t wear a look from head to toe - she mixes and matches. And for the hair we all want them to be their own version of this girl - she’s an individual. Everyone has different hair lengths and sports an unravelled, travelling through the desert loo. It's sexy and it’s not fussy, but a lot of ropey texture created with product and secured into a knot.”
Make-up: Victoria Baron for
Make-up look: “It’s that 90s muse, with really raw skin. Christopher has created this clothing that is military inspired with all these feminine touches, which has been reflected in the make-up. There's a really soft wash over the eyes. Within the clothes there’s play between wet textures and dry textures, there's also pops of metallic. So what we've done is created two looks and applied them roughly like paint over the eyes. There's a metallic silver to complement the clothes, with a dusty cheek, brushed up brows and no mascara."
