Hair: Jayne Wild for Goldwell Professional
Hair look: “The idea is that the girls have been out all night partying. She’s been out and has now just tied back her hair but pinned it back with whatever she has on hand. She’s just chucked it up, with quite a lived in element to the hair. Goldwell Power Whip has been used to give texture more than body - we’ve used up to four layers of it on some of the girls.”
Make-up: Nicole Thompson for
Make-up look: “Manning Cartell like to change their look each season, which I love - it’s never the same girl. While last year was the glam girl with the red lip, this year we have the girl who has gone to the after party and it’s now the next day. We are doing the next day all-nighter girl. It’s messed up, it’s lived in, it’s slept in - make-up looks awesome when it’s slept in! What we did is apply a heavy black liner on the waterline, under the eyes and blurred it down with the waterline. Added some gloss on-top before they go to hair - this give the make-up some time to move around into their creases. The skin is all about a youthful matte - being matte against that shine so that it has impact once the light hits it."
