Aussie winner of major L’Oréal Paris make-up comp

After announcing back in January that it was launching the first ever international make-up contest exclusively on YouTube, L'Oréal Paris is excited to reveal the Australian winner.

Multi award-winning hairstylist and make-up artist Vivianne Tran has taken out the Australian category, and will be heading to Cannes for the international finale of The Brush Contest on May 19 and 20.

The global competition attracted over 3000 entries across 12 countries: France, USA, Canada, UK, Australia, Germany, China, Thailand, Italy and Turkey. With more than 27 million Google searches and over 29 million YouTube views to its name, The Brush Contest has garnered widespread attention.

To choose the Australian winner, L’Oréal Paris assembled a local jury of industry experts, including L’Oréal Paris make-up director Elsa Morgan, brand ambassador Megan Gale, L’Oréal Paris marketing director Cameron Woods, and beauty vlogger Chloe Morello.

The grand finale will be hosted by Eva Longoria, with finalists then getting the chance to work with top models like Doutzen Kroes, Karlie Kloss, Barbara Palvin, Soo Joo Park, and Lara Stone. The winner will become the next L’Oréal Paris make-up designer and sign a €100,000 contract.
