Rewarded for the bold statement, Skinfood’s print advertising campaign has won its media agency Colenso BBDO a Gold Lion award at the Cannes Lions festival, applauded for its striking imagery and message.
In a bid to raise awareness for breast cancer, the campaign urges women to moisturise their breasts, which in turn helps them to discover lumps or abnormalities. Early detection is the key with breast cancer, and with 50 per cent of cases pinpointed thanks to self checking, this brand is certainly on the right track.
Skinfood hopes to normalise the issue of breast checking and bring it into day-to-day conversations.
