Media’s movers and shakers congregated last night for the annual Publish Awards. Held at Doltone House and MC’d by journalist and funny man Joe Hildebrand, the event celebrated the journalistic triumphs of the year, with categories ranging from best cover to best journalist.
The night’s highlights saw Marie Claire’s Jackie Frank pipped at the post by Australian Women’s Weekly’s Helen McCabe to win Editor Of The Year (consumer), while GQ took out the gongs for Best Cover with its powerful portrait of Malcolm Turnbull, as well as Magazine Of The Year (consumer). BEAUTYDIRECTORY's Yelena Fairfax was also named runner-up for Editor Of The Year (business).
