The last week has seen beauty media attend an afternoon of 1950s finery and fun for theBalm Cosmetics event at Porteno Restaurant, the Australian launch of UK’s number one nail brand nails inc at The Establishment and details about the upcoming Australian-wide tour of the SunSense UV Photobus at a breakfast at Pier Restaurant.

It was all about the Olympics on the site, with beauty brands getting into the spirit of the Games, plus we got a glimpse of the incredible nails from the recent Nailympics. bd also discovered the history behind iconic Australian Story Behind the Brand: Australis and talked to bdTV: Elizabeth Treble, national marketing manager, Plunkett Pharmaceuticals about cosmeceuticals in Australia.
