Lauren Curtis collaborates on YouTube campaign

YouTube is a familiar forum for Lauren Curtis, considering it is the site from which she launched her stellar career. It makes sense, then, that the leading beauty vlogger was recently chosen to front YouTube’s latest campaign.

As a part of the campaign, Curtis has appeared on digital platforms, print publications, and billboards across Australia, alongside the slogan, “make up your own rules”. It’s a collaboration Curtis was delighted to be a part of, saying: “What started out as an introduction to beauty grew quickly into something bigger than I could ever imagine. I am thrilled to be aligned with the platform that helped me grow a small beauty hobby into a worldwide digital beauty business.”

Curtis’ involvement with YouTube will also see her appear at FanFest this Friday, September 11. The festival - held at Qantas Credit Union Arena - will give leading YouTube sensations (in beauty, fashion, dance, music and comedy) the chance to interact with their fan base. For Curtis, this will mean some of her 3 million YouTube subscribers and 1.2 million Instagram followers.

YouTube head of marketing Chris Dodson says of Curtis’ appearance: “From Perth to Paris, Lauren is known as one of the world’s leading YouTube beauty creators. We hope that this new campaign helps shine a light on her success and we can’t wait to see her fan’s reaction when they see her on stage at FanFest on Friday.”

Lynette Phillips, the founder of Curtis' agency MAXCONNECTORS commented that she has no doubt that Curtis' domination of the industry will continue: “Lauren continues to take the beauty and digital world by storm, and her latest YouTube appointment is testament to this.”
