After making the move from Girlfriend to beauty editor at PRIMPED in September last year, Lauren Dunne (nee Carter) is excited to announce she is diving into the world of freelance beauty journalism on December 15.
"My time at PRIMPED.com.au has been such an exciting and rewarding ride. With industry legends like Zoe Foster Blake and Katrina Lawrence previously steering the ship, being selected to be a part of the PRIMPED.com.au team was a total dream come true. The digital media landscape is constantly shifting and expanding, which made PRIMPED.com.au such an incredibly exciting and fast-paced environment to work in – and I've loved every minute of it!" says Dunne.
Dunne will continue to write for PRIMPED.com.au on a freelance basis as the site’s beauty editor-at-large, and will retain her role as the site’s primary content producer.
While the beauty expert has already lined up some additional projects and collaborations, she is available for freelance editorial work, brand collaborations, content creation and copywriting projects, beauty product and swatch styling, social media management and brand consulting.
"Having jumped ship from traditional print media to join Team Digital, I'm now equipped with a highly valuable skill set that puts me in a fantastic position to advance my career within the beauty industry. Working on a freelance basis will allow me to diversify my beauty writing portfolio and also opens the door to exciting new brand collaborations and opportunities, and I have some amazing projects on the horizon which I can't wait to share with you in 2015," adds Dunne.
Dunne’s last day in the PRIMPED office will be December 12, however she will continue to be the primary contact for launch invitations and press releases.
