After joining beautyheaven in 2007 as online editorial assistant, senior content producer Olivia Mackinnon quickly moved through the ranks due to her expert writing skills and ability to produce high-quality video tutorials.
In sad news this week, Mackinnon is saying goodbye to not only beautyheaven but the beauty industry, as she takes up a new role as digital content producer at KIIS 1065 FM.
"It feels incredibly strange to think that this is my final week at beautyheaven and I wanted to thank everyone - especially Jackie Maxted - for making my time in this industry an absolute dream. I have enjoyed every single moment of everything that comes with being a beauty editor. It was a truly amazing experience that I'll never forget," says Mackinnon.
"It has taken seven years to find a job that even slightly measures up to my current position and I will be starting my role as digital content producer at KIIS 1065 FM on Friday, November 28. I'll be working across all shows on the KIIS network, including the Kyle & Jackie-O Show. It has been a pleasure working with you and I will definitely miss you all!"
In her time at beautyheaven, Mackinnon has won accolades including the Star Award for Online Beauty Journalist of the Year and the Jasmine Award for Best Online Feature.
