Mamamia’s expansion this year has been colossal, with the female-friendly network employing former senior Mi9 executive Marc Barnett to take the reins of the booming project. Unfortunately, the partnership was not meant to be, with Barnett confirming he will be leaving his post as COO of Mamamia Women’s Network after only seven months.
Originally appointed in January of this year, Barnett was hired in the hope to assist in the dramatic expansion of the network both in Australia and overseas. It is believed Barnett’s departure is a mutual decision with Mamamia.
The publisher will continue to look at international expansion as it hunts for a US-based editor.
