SoNailicious founder Maria Vlezko has announced a move away from agency representation, with the Australian nail artist and influencer taking all commercial enquiries in-house. Editorial enquiries will now be handled by DOT&RIBBON.
Founded in November 2012, SoNailicious is renowned as a nail authority in Australia and has an engaged following of more than 92K followers on Instagram, 72K Facebook fans, and 12K followers on Pinterest. She also recently launched a YouTube channel where she uploads new nail tutorials weekly.
Explaining her decision, Vlezko tells BEAUTYDIRECTORY: “It was not an easy decision. Roxy [Jacenko – founder of Ministry of Talent] is great to work with, but having full creative freedom over content and brand collaborations is essential for SoNailicious as an online publication and for me as an influencer.
“I also wanted to continue working with both well-known big brands and smaller brands. Often smaller brands don't have massive advertising budgets, but some of them have fantastic products and I want my readers to know about those products too. Also, to streamline all communications with our clients, all brands and PRs we work with.”
