The Vault takes a new direction

With Facebook launching a Marketplace segment earlier this week, e-commerce is continuing to flourish as the most recent trend in business expansion. The Vault Online is the latest to jump aboard with the lifestyle site unveiling a new look, complete with shopping section.

Announcing to its legions of fans on Instagram and Facebook, the self-described ‘destination for the modern woman’ released the news of its makeover with the caption: “WE ARE LIVE. The Vault is unlocked with a new shop edit to check out! Run...don't walk!” The newly-launched shopping section features a curated selection of beauty and fashion pieces from editor Laura Wiederman that will be available in limited supply for site visitors.

Wiederman says of the inspiration for the latest development: “We kind of had a lightbulb moment! We constantly receive questions from our audience asking us ‘where we bought that dress’ or ‘where our shoes were from’ and we decided to take the complication out and make it super simple by supplying our readers direct access to our favourite looks from our favourite brands.

“This realisation brought us to the decision to re-launch and re-vamp, creating a user friendly shop page that took the middle man out of the equation. We love our loyal followers and are constantly thinking about ways that we can make their experience the best that we can.”

As well as the new shoppable feature, the sleek new site is introducing its bridal segment - #breakingbridal.
