Actress and stand-up comedian, Amy Schumer, has partnered with Beautycounter, an American multi-level marketing skincare and cosmetics brand that creates safer and effective products for women and families.
In an effort to advocate for clean beauty, Schumer released a series of lighthearted campaign videos with her friend and Beautycounter consultant, Shea. The pair discussed everything beauty related, pregnancy and the reality of ingredients standards.
“I heard about @beautycounter through my good friend Shea,” the star said in an Instagram post. “Beautycounter is an empowering beauty and skincare brand led by women. I love Beautycounter’s mission to get safer products into the hands of everyone. Link in bio for full video #betterbeauty #ad”.
Beautycounter has been working with several legal teams since its launch in 2013 to ensure consumer safety as a brand priority. In 2017, it also founded the Counteract Coalition to advocate for more protective laws in Washington DC.
The brand currently stocks colour cosmetics and skincare products for body, face, hair, men and babies.
