Celebrities including Sarah Wilson, Kyly Boldy, Sami Lukis and Tracey Spicer joined members of the public in ’s annual Walk for Water event on Sunday April 17.
The 6km walks in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth helped raise money for the Premier’s Disaster Relief Appeal to support those affected by the Queensland natural disasters that occurred late last year and earlier this year.
Despite a cloudy start, , the sun shone for Sydneysiders as they crossed the finishing line and received their Aveda stress-relieving scalp and shoulder ritual.
Also taking part in the walk was 2010 So You Think You Can Dance winner Talia Fowler and choreographer Adam Williams.
The Walk for Water event is part of Aveda’s Earth Month that was created 12 years ago to help raise awareness and funds for environmental issues around the world.
