Her great-grandfather Ernest ruled the literary world, and now, Dree Hemingway is making her mark in the fashion industry. The American stunner is the latest member of the Hemingway clan to make headlines for the most stylish of reasons, having been announced as the face of Chloé’s latest fragrance.
Hemingway says of the venture: “I am very honoured to be the new face of . It is a brand that has been part of my life for a long time; it brings up a lot of memories for me. I am looking forward to continuing my story with Chloé into the world of fragrance.”
This is not the first time Hemingway has partnered with the ethereal French fashion house - she has previously walked in its runway shows, and last appeared on the catwalk in March this year (in Paris, of course).
Chloé’s creative director Clare Waight Keller believes Hemingway and the brand are a perfect match, saying: “She completely embodies the Chloé girl’s spirit and attitude. Her radiant beauty and personality express everything I wanted to convey with the fragrance. It is her incredible ability to be elegant, nonchalant and spontaneous all at once that is both modern and charming.”
COTY chief marketing officer of fragrances Steve Mormoris continues: “Over the last 7 years of continued success, we have created beautiful iconic fragrance advertising campaigns portraying the Chloé girl in a contemporary vision of femininity. Today, thanks to Dree’s inspiring personality, we aim to speak to the millions of Chloé followers everywhere.”
Hemingway’s advertising campaign for the brand will be revealed internationally in September 2015.
