emerginC extends donations

Continuing its strong connection to global charitable organisations, emerginC has announced it is extending its donation period to Operation Smile.

Originally intended to run until April 30, the beauty company will keep donating a percentage of the proceeds from the sale of its Triple Threat Peel to the Operation Smile charity until June 30.

We do quarterly charity promotions. For example, we gave 10 per cent of our emerginC Micro-Scrub proceeds to the World Wildlife Fund, and now we are giving 10 per cent of our proceeds from our Triple Threat Peel to Operation Smile, which provides surgeries to repair facial deformities,” says emerginC founder and CEO Ian Lirenman.

The aim of Operation Smile is to provide safe, effective reconstructive surgery for children who are born with facial deformities such as cleft lip and cleft palate.

On top of its donations to Operation Smile, emerginC is also giving 20 per cent of the proceeds from its Red Carpet Primer to GlobalGiving, a charity that supports organisations providing relief and aid to the Japanese earthquake and tsunami victims.

With its great charity work, it’s no wonder emerginC has attracted a host of philanthropic celebrity fans including Jennifer Aniston, Sandra Bullock, Oprah Winfrey, Matt Damon and Brad Pitt.
