You'll be hard-pressed to find a celebrity that hasn't dabbled the beauty game at this stage. With big names like Rihanna, Selena and Drew solidifying themselves in our beauty bags, the next celeb to join the ranks is none other than our favourite friend, Jennifer Aniston.
Say hello to LolaVie, a naturally-derived haircare brand founded and owned by Aniston. The brand “creates products that are effective, smart, and unfussy - ones that solve real problems without the fluff,” and launched September 8, 2021.
For someone who made 'The Rachel' haircut famous many moons ago, we're not too shocked that the A-lister went down the haircare route. And as for our post-winter locks? They couldn't be happier.
For those playing along at home, the brand's name might seem a little familiar. Back in 2010, Aniston first launched a perfume, which was originally intended to be called, LolaVie. “It's a long story and honestly it’s too personal to tell, but it has a special significance,” Aniston previously told the LA Times.
Well, the cat's out of the bag over 10 years later, sharing LolaVie comes from her nickname, Lola, which has more meaning than ever. “To her, Lola is someone who owns who they are, believes in themselves, and lives life on their own terms. In French, vie, means life. Thus, LolaVie = LolaLife,” the brand shared.
As for the product line up, LolaVie has launched with one product, promising it will be releasing more when they are “just right.”
The first cab off the rank is the Glossing Detangler. The multitasking, lightweight spray helps detangle and prime with vegan thermal shield, enhances shine with lemon extract, smooths with a superfruit complex and vegetable ceramides, and protects against damage by harnessing the power of chia seeds.
The range is said to be suitable for all hair types – thin/thick, fine/wavy, curly/coily, dry, damaged, chemically-treated, colour-treated and virgin hair.
As for availability, LolaVie is currently sold exclusively online through lolavie.com, shipping across the United States. Plans for international delivery is on the cards for the near future, so stay tuned!
