Their partnership expands longer than most marriages – with this year seeing Kate Moss and Rimmel London celebrate 15 years of collaboration together. First named Rimmel's muse in 2001, Moss and Rimmel are celebrating their milestone partnership with the launch of a new anniversary collection.
Here, Moss reveals all about the collection and her favourite Rimmel memories.
What was your inspiration behind the shades?
To celebrate my 15 years with Rimmel, I wanted to bring back my all-time favourite reds and nudes.
What is different about this special anniversary collection?
I worked with the team to create a bespoke rose gold packaging to make it really special for the anniversary celebration. The great thing about the reds and nudes shades is that they are timeless which means they will always be on trend.
You have also created three anniversary nail shades, what was your inspiration for these shades?
I wanted to create nail shades to complement the lip shades. There is a classic nude to go with nude lip shades, a more daring sparkling rock red for a night out, and the timeless rose gold that is perfect for all occasions and complements all of the lip shades.
This collection celebrates 15 years of collaboration between yourself and Rimmel. What have been some of your favourite memories of these last 15 years?
Rimmel is one of the brands I have been working with the longest. We [have] got to know each other really well over the years. They indulge me with a lot of creative freedom to work on my collections. I would have to say though that the most fun parts are shooting the ads. They have had me do the craziest things. It’s always been fun.
Is there one specific campaign that sticks out above the rest?
One of my favourites was a lip TV ad where I got to crash a wedding, walk on the table and throw cake around the room. We really had a blast shooting it. They gave me real cake to throw at the camera which is always fun! My all-time favourite Rimmel campaign however has to be this latest one we just shot with [renowned photographer] Solve [Sundsbo]. The day went really smoothly. We had a great atmosphere on set and I was so happy to celebrate this milestone with Solve and the team.
