After already successfully launching into fragrance and cosmetics, model and reality-TV star Kimora Lee Simmons is set to release a nine-piece skincare treatment range called Shinto Clinical.
Made in collaboration with New York dermatologist Eric Schweiger, products include an anti-ageing moisturiser, pore concealer, anti-age peptide toner, pore minimiser and an eyelash enhancer.
The line blends Eastern and Western influences, with Asian influences seen via ingredients including fish oil, pearl powder, omegas and Wakame kelp extract.
"This line is about their Eastern allure of diet and beautiful skin. It's based on cultures that live from the sea," Simmons told WWD. "The Western [influence] is the medicine, the efficacy, the delivery and the clinical results."
The range will debut on online shopping site QVC on February 24th before being rolled out to Nordstrom and Fred Segal stores.
