Look Good Feel Better ambassador Leigh Campbell hosted her inaugural charity mixer with the support of her friends, Amy Gerard and Tegan Natoli, raising an impressive $30,000 to support individuals undergoing cancer treatment.
Leigh, who took on the ambassador role at Look Good Feel Better in 2022, has been a passionate advocate for the charity since her first introduction to the program in 2003.
Through her extensive media work, partnerships, and her ability to unite her community, Leigh has helped raise awareness and vital funds for Look Good Feel Better; a program dedicated to empowering people with cancer and improving their confidence and well-being.
"I am blown away by the support of both brands and attendees for this fundraising event," Leigh said.
"Through everyone's combined hard work, we raised $30,000 for Look Good Feel Better, which means 300 people going through cancer treatment will be able to participate in the free workshops."
"Not only was it such a fun night full of joy and festivities, the outcome means Look Good Feel Better can continue to improve the lives of those who need the support," she said.
The charity mixer, held at Four Hundred Mexican Bar & Kitchen, saw 200 guests in attendance for a joy-filled evening of entertainment, networking, and of course fundraising.
Guests enjoyed a signature cocktail - the Sesión Petalo Spritz and beverages from Calabria Family Wines, Remedy Drinks, and Natural Raw C, while indulging in a delicious spread from the Four Hundred Kitchen.
The event was made possible thanks to the generosity of sponsors Frankie4 Footwear and Nude by Nature, with Clint Dowdell of Nude by Nature also providing his beauty expertise on a panel chat and helping colour-match 200 guests, gifting them the brand’s iconic Natural Mineral Cover Powder Foundation and Hydra Stick Lip and Cheek Colour.
Other businesses and partners who contributed to the event’s success include Une Piece Swimwear, Shona Joy, Heinemann, Brillo Beauty, Bump Day Spa, Halo 360, Simple Booth, Auricle Ear Seeds, Fleur My Darling, Look Print, DJ Gigi Rose, and On The Day Socials.
Guests on the night received fabulous gift bags featuring products from incredible brands such as Nude by Nature, Frankie4 Footwear, Ipsum Skin, OPTY.NC, Avéne, Weleda Australia, Pukka Herbs, Remedy Drinks, Edible Beauty, The Baking Co., Auricle Ear Seeds, Health Lab, and Three Warriors.
Leigh and the Look Good Feel Better team are deeply grateful to everyone who attended and contributed to raising critical funds, ensuring the Look Good Feel Better program can continue to provide its services free of charge to cancer patients across Australia.
