AdRoll - a business behind targeted advertising on Facebook and Twitter - has just made its debut on Instagram.
The integrative feature uses the platform’s existing data to assess user profiles and assign targeted ads to individual feeds. Advertisers will be able to buy these ads similarly to the way they can on other social media sites.
AdRoll’s president Adam Berke announced the collaboration between the companies, saying: “Instagram is one of the largest untapped premium inventory sources available, with over 300 million global users.”
“We’re excited to partner with our customers to develop new best practices for a social media platform that has already become so ingrained in our culture. For AdRoll, the integration with Instagram highlights our commitment to continue to provide our customers with early access to emerging inventory sources and technologies,” he continues.
